“WHO Next Generation Partograph-Labour Care Guide”
Main Article Content
Abstract
Greetings!
How much we are aware of it and moreover how much we are ready to accept the change from WHO old partogram to WHO new LCG!
Nevertheless, this is not new, but almost 7 years have been passed since it was introduced by WHO in 2018. World Health Organization (WHO) has been at the forefront of improving maternal and neonatal care, with the partograph being a cornerstone of intrapartum monitoring for decades. However, in 2018, recognizing its drawback, WHO introduced the Labour Care Guide (LCG), a next-generation partograph designed to manage labour in a more comprehensive, patient-oriented, and individualized way.1 This transition from the traditional partograph to LCG marks a paradigm shift, but the question remains: How much we are aware of it, and how prepared we are to accept this change?
